The Forest Nook restaurant makes many meals from scratch. The extensive menu consists of appetizers, hand-tossed pizza, soups and salads, burgers, sandwiches, various dinners and incredible homemade desserts. 

Built in 1873 from locally timbered chestnut and hemlock trees, the Wayside has provided weary travelers fine food and drink for well over one hundred forty seven years. Locates between Lucinda and Fryburg on an old Algonquin Indian path, the Wayside has served this area as a Stage Coach Stop, Post Office, Hotel, Speak-Easy and Restaurant.
 
Cousin Basils, formerly known as Iron Mountain Grille, is located at the threshold of Cook Forest. Daily specials are offered, as well as a variety of Pastas, Pizzas, Sandwiches, Salads, Appetizers, Homemade Desserts, and Draft Beer.
