Patti and Steve Tavelli have been coming to Cook Forest since 2009. They have spent several wedding anniversaries and weekends in Cook Forest, falling more in love with the area and each other everytime they booked a trip. In 2020 they purchased Timberbrook Cabins located in Cooksburg, Pa. Once they experienced owning their own cabin and the ‘true cabin life’, they decided to follow their shared dream of owning a business and purchased Evergreen Cabins & Mercantile.
Patti and Steve went all in! Steve resigned from his corporate job. They sold their home in Pittsburgh, Pa and moved their family (2 children, and Shiba Inu) to Cook Forest/Cooksburg, Pa. On June 1st, 2021, they took ownership of Evergreen Cabins and Mercantile starting an adventure that is a dream come true for them. They have a love and respect for Cook Forest, they have a love and passion for cabin life, and most importantly, they have a love for hospitality.
